Science Class Bonus Challenge Question

As promised from Tuesday's class, sorry its just a little later than planned.

This is more of a math problem than science...Sorry! 3 point bonus...first correct answer (all 3 parts) gets the bonus. I will not tell if you get one, two, or none of the parts correct.

Suppose a runner wants to know how much less weight he carries overall for the length of a marathon if he switches from shoes that weigh 10.5 oz per shoe to a pair that weighs 8.3 oz. Typically, for him, it takes about 1000 steps to run a mile and a marathon is 26.2 miles long. How much total weight does he save?

For full credit you must have
part 1 - answer in ounces
part 2 - answer in pounds
part 3 - answer in kg
