***tips on working with pictures
Tip 1 – When you find a picture you like, RIGHT click on it and choose “copy image”
Tip 2 – “paste” your image by using the RIGHT click again the choosing paste. Place the image in the location you would like it in your document.
Tip 3 – Adjusting the size and location of the image in your document. Once the image is in your document, it might be too large or in a strange place. Double click on the image and a “format picture” pop up appears. Click on the “layout” tab, then choose “square”. This will allow you to change the shape of the picture and move it anywhere you like.

5. In the space below (or on the next page), copy and paste a picture of both “coal-mining Coalwood” AND “steel mill Cleveland” from 1950. You may use any search function to do this, but be sure to also credit where on the internet you found each picture. For the picture credit be sure to include 3 things: 1. The website you found it on. 2. The photographer (if available). 3. The year it was taken.
6. From the book, find 3 coal mining objects that you can find pictures of and paste below. Again, list the website, photographer and year. (3 pts)
7. Copy and paste a picture of “sputnik”. Cite the website, photographer, and year. (1 pt)
8. Find a picture of Wernher von Braun. Cite the website, photographer, and year. (1 pt)
9. Compare the towns of Coalwood and Cleveland. The best I can do for you is mention that the same way Coalwood was a mining town depending on coal, Cleveland was a steel town. This is only a 3 point question, so you go any direction with this you like. (3 pts)
