Anatomy class assignment
Muscle Anatomy Webquest Creation
For this assignment you are to work in pairs.
A Webquest is an activity that uses the internet. Students are given a worksheet which directs them to websites all over the internet to review, research, play games, and answer questions about any particular topic.
You are responsible for creating a webquest about muscle anatomy (in other words you’re the teacher). In this webquest you must have the following:
1. 10 questions about muscle anatomy that can be researched on site YOU provide. You ask the questions that your students would have to fill in on the worksheet.
2. A link to a muscle picture labeling site.
3. A link to a muscle anatomy online quiz.
4. A link to a muscle anatomy game (crossword, etc…)
These things exist in large numbers! You will find them.
Please make your webquest presentable, user-friendly, and fun. But most of all, make sure it helps your students learn muscle anatomy!
Instead of emailing this product to me or printing it, please post it to this class blog…
www.kieserspace.blogspot.com
Please DO NOT put the answers to your webquest on the version that you post.
The best technique for this is to create your webquest as a Word document, save it to the computer you’re using (write the number down), then copy and paste your webquest to the blogspot when you’re done.
Be clever!

Today you guys reviewed the skeleton picture as well as the skull bone quiz.
After reviewing the compact bone structure (and expanding on it a little), we read an article on hormone replacement therapy. We also learned the roles of osteoblasts and osteoclasts.
To finish class we had 2 worksheets to fill in.
Test is probably next Tuesday - it will be of large point value so please get crackin.
Physical Science
C block we had a rousing conversation about Cleveland Public Schools then got into the topic at hand - scientific method.
Both classes did the M & M lab, but the A block class was given the paper towel lab to review. Both classes will do that in class on Friday.
Peace to all.

Wednesday Feb 6
Greetings from the insane asylum I call room 331. I highly doubt anyone reads this blog, so I have no problem going off the deep end a little.
Physical Science
Today we introduced the idea of reading an article for the purposes of criticizing its science. I don't suppose that article would make for some great dinner conversation, eh?
After that you were given a sheet in which you were asked to identify 5 different possible solutions for 3 different problems. We will continue with the scientific method more on Thursday.
Anatomy
Today we began studying the microscopic anatomy of bone. There were notes on this that you will want to copy if you were absent (Ellie).
Worksheet for reviewing the notes we took. We will review this Thursday.
You also had a practice skull/vertebrae quiz to work on for Thurs.

We begin critical thinking and scientific method next - be ready.
